The actor Kunle Remi has revealed why there is no footage of his proposal to Tiwi and why his wife didn’t think he was serious when he proposed. On Sunday, December 31st, Kunle Remi unexpectedly announced her marriage on Instagram, sharing romantic pictures of the couple. The 35-year-old claimed that Tiwi enthralled him with her wide smile and laugh because of her confidence. In an interview with Kristina Innemee, Kunle Remi stated: “Her confidence caught my attention. She is vibrant and the type who turns heads when entering a room – you can’t not notice her. In response, Kunle Remi acknowledged that he had gotten down on one knee to pop the question, but he was unable to record the event because it was unplanned and he didn’t want to ruin the surprise. He went on to say that his woman didn’t even think he was serious due to his spontaneity, so he had to get up and put the ring on her finger. The movie star said: “I did get on one knee for the culture. But there was no one to record. I couldn’t set up for a content shoot (Steals the spontaneity). Even she didn’t believe me. I just got up and wore the ring on her finger.”

Actor Kunle Remi of Nollywood has taken to his page to drag colleagues in Nollywood as he describes the industry as petty and dirty. The actor, who had an incredible performance in the film “Anikulapo,” but was unable to win any awards at the 2023 African Magic Viewers Choice (AMVCA), revealed this in a message on X (previously known as Twitter). Kunle says people would unfollow or block you if they can’t use you in the film industry. He added that the only one who can use him is God. Kunle Remi breaks silence following AMVCA snub

Notable Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi breaks silence about being left out of the nominations for the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2023 despite his lead role in the movie Anikulapo. It would be recalled that during the 2023 edition of the AMVCA event, Anikulapo received 16 nominations in 15 categories but Kunle made none.

Addressing the issue during an interview on the TV show ‘Your View’, Kunle Remi stated that the snub did not affect his worth or fame. “Nomination, well, I fell into the category of non-nominated artistes. It doesn’t reduce my value, fame and energy,” he stated. He also stated that his role as “Saro” was not motivated by the desire for an award, but rather by a challenge. It is worth noting that rumours circulated that the actor was snubbed due to comments he made in an interview about a senior colleague who attempted to persuade him to engage in homosexuality.

Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has recounted in a podcast a nasty encounter he had with a popular celebrity who is gay.

Actor Kunle Remi made this disclosure during a discussion on ‘The honest bunch’ Podcast, with other stars. According to him, when he joined the entertainment industry, a friend introduced him to this celebrity to help push him to the top. Kunle disclosed that the celebrity suggested they become gay partners while he tried to teach him how to break his “virginity” with a stick of candle and a cup of oil.
