Recall he recently extended his contract with the Spanish giants until 2026, During a press conference, the 64-year-old expressed his desire to continue coaching beyond 2026,”Yes, but it may not be in 2026. Hopefully, I can stay until 2027 or 2028.” He noted his fondness for Real Madrid and his satisfaction with staying at the club despite being approached for the Brazil national team coaching position.

The Far From Home TV-series actor took to his page to declare his intentions to run for a position with his senior colleague Desmond Elliot in the Lagos state House of Assembly, Surulere constituency 1, on the ticket of the Labour Party (LP). According to Oworu Olumide, the youth in Nigeria have grown and developed voices that are now heard and have all joined in the decision-making in the country. This announcement by Oworu has caused a stir on social media because his senior colleague, Desmond Elliot, currently holds the position under the All Progressives Congress (APC), and is running for a third term. Oworu announced….“It is with a sense of honour and duty that I announce my candidacy for membership of The Lagos State House of Assembly – Surulere Constituency 1 on the platform of The Labour Party. The youth of this generation in Nigeria are more politically aware than ever and are now striving to have our voices heard and take part in the government process of this great country. As someone with a passion for youth development, it is on this note that I tender myself in service to play my part in the actualization of an all inclusive government, where the young Nigerian intellectuals have a chance to make a change by being a part of the move for the creation of a new Nigeria.
