Popular actor, Yul Edochie commences dragging his first wife again as he demands for reimbursement of the bride price that he paid to marry her. The controversial movie star has been making the rounds all over again after he laid new allegations on his wife.

Yul Edochie. He had claimed, in a recent post, that his wife underwent bosom enlargement surgery, a surgery he claims was consented by her alleged married boyfriend. In a new development, Yul has come online to ask his wife the reason she has refused to drop his surname.

The senior preacher at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, opines that Jesus Christ may return to the world on an unspecified October 1st in the future. The clergyman made this declaration during a recent event held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

According to Pastor Adeboye, just as the 1st of October is a significant date in the Biblical calendar, it is no mistake that it coincides with Nigeria’s Independence Day. The preacher further emphasized how the date may be significant to the return of Jesus Christ as predicted by the Bible. In his words; “God was behind the scene when 1st October was chosen as Independent Day by Nigeria’s fathers of democracy. Nigeria is a very special country. It will amaze you to know that the most amazing date in the Biblical calendar is 1st October. That is the day that is called – the feast of trumpets – and many Bible scholars believe that the most likely date that Jesus will come back again to earth will be October 1, but the year we don’t know. The Bible says when Jesus will come back it will be with the sound of the trumpet and the day for the feast of trumpet is to start on October 1st. Now when you consider that, you will know that God was behind the scene when our fathers (some of whom are now gone) were choosing 1st October as the day for our independence and this could explain why Nigeria has gone through so much turbulence. Sometimes when you think by tomorrow there will be no more Nigeria, you will wake up the next day and still find out that Nigeria is still standing. No matter what is happening in Nigeria today, I firmly believe that we have a glorious future. God has a very special interest in our nation Nigeria and I want you to be encouraged.”

Some clerics have ordered a young Ghanaian practicing Muslim who recently won GHC6 million through a bet to return the money. The young man has been ordered to reject and return the entire amount of money to the betting company because his religious belief forbids gambling in all its shades and forms, including proceeds from gambling. The winner, only identified as Fuseini, went to receive his cash amount with his mother, who was seen wearing a hijab and wiping tears of joy from the face of her son when he was presented with the dummy cheque of their winnings on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
