Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has recently shared the story of how he crossed paths with his wife, Chioma Avril Rowland, shedding light on their blossoming relationship. The couple first encountered each other while attending Babcock University, where Davido pursued a degree in music, while Chioma studied Economics.

In a captivating documentary alongside YouTuber and vlogger Tayo Aina, Davido granted his fans a glimpse into his daily life. Spanning 43 minutes, the video delves into the singer’s hectic schedule, characterized by constant travel, brief respites, and relaxation aboard private jets soaring thousands of feet above sea level.

In his words; “I was in school for a year before I blew up. That was when I met my wife. I remember the day I saw her. I can never forget. I was in a Prado, and I looked behind, and I saw this girl walking. Just there with her bag, it was Chioma. I told Lat (Davido’s personal assistant), ‘Omo, I like that girl. Go and call that girl for me.” However, initial attempts to establish contact were met with silence, as Chioma did not respond at the time. Nonetheless, fate intervened, and Chioma eventually made her way to Lagos, where the two reconnected. Davido reminisced, saying, “Later on, she came to Lagos, and we linked up.
