Nigerian singer, Spyro has celebrated his 2023 achievement in unique style as his music video becomes the most viewed on YouTube. Spyro recently celebrated the huge success and significant occasion of his popular song “Who Is Your Guy” on social media, earning it the title of 2023’s most-viewed Afrobeat music video.

Spyro With a staggering 112 million views, Spyro’s blockbuster song topped the music chart, and’ Davido‘s viral hit “Unavailable” came in second. Rema’s enthralling song “Charm” was also given an honourable mention in this end of the year ranking. Spyro shared his excitement with his fans on Instagram as he popped a bottle of champagne to commemorate this momentous accomplishment. Particularly following Spyro’s partnership with Tiwa Savage, “Who Is Your Guy” had a meteoric rise in popularity, taking on a global significance. Spyro reacts after getting dragged for Carol performance at church

Popular Afropop singer, Spyro reacts to Nigerians crucifying him for his performance at a church Christmas carol as he makes his stance as a Christian clear. The music star and the lead pastor of the Harvesters International Christian center, Bolaji Idowu were dragged earlier by Nigerians.

Spyro. Apparently, many weren’t all too happy with a secular musician performing in church. Making his stance clear, he noted that he is a human like everyone and should be allowed to participate in the church activities. According to him, he has been worshipping at Harvesters church for well over 7 years and serve in two departments there. He further mentioned that he is a devoted Christian who serves in a real church, regardless of his status as a Nigerian Afropop singer. Outrage as Pastor Bolaji invites Spyro to perform at church’s Christmas Carol

The Lead preacher at Harvesters International Christian Center, Pastor Bolaji Idowu comes under fire for inviting the famous Afrobeat singer, Spyro to perform at the church’s Christmas Carol. The Christmas Carol that was held at the Church’s branch in Lekki, Lagos on 17th of December, 2023 sparked a wave of reactions.

Pastor Bolaji Idowu For this year’s Carol, aside from Spyro, other celebrities like Daniel Effiong, Bisola Ayeola, Dorathy Bachor, Sharon Ooja, Uzor Arukwe, Adeh Gbolahan, and Kenneth Ophopho, as seen on the flier. The preacher had announced it on his Instagram page, with the caption, “Can’t wait for this ! It’s today , starts in less than an hour.” Pastor Bolaji Idowu has since been ridiculed by netizens who condemned the idea of mixing worldly practices with Christianity.

A Nigerian lady goes emotional in a viral video online as popular Afrobeat singer, Spyro gifts her a generous sum of N1 million. The lady, who goes by the name, Favour said she woke up this morning, Monday, November 13, to a credit alert, something she had never received before, and it left her speechless.

Why I can’t do a song with Portable — Spyro (Video)

In a recent interview with Cool FM, Lagos, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, a Nigerian singer widely recognized as Spyro, openly expressed his stance on doing a song with fellow artist Portable. Spyro firmly stated that Portable is the only artist he would never collaborate with.

Portable expressed his disappointment in Spyro’s refusal to collaborate on a song with him. In his online rant, Portable pointed out that the singer is still considered an emerging artist and should therefore exhibit humility.

Spyro remembers late mentor Sound Sultan in a heartfelt open letter

Nigerian musician, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro recently wrote an open letter to his late mentor Sound Sultan, who passed away on July 11, 2021, in the United States after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.

In a recent Instagram post, Spyro reminisced about all the good deeds Sound Sultan did for him and acknowledged his immense contribution to his success. Spyro stated that he misses his mentor and cannot count his blessings without him.

Spyro expressed regret that Sound Sultan is not here to witness his success but thanked him for all he taught him. “I MISS YOU mentor … I cannot COUNT MY BLESSINGS without you. Today thoughts of how you fed me, clothed me and accepted me when nobody did come rushing back. “I remember a night we were to go for an event and I, as usual, came so unkept and fashion-less but while others laughed at me, you went up to your room and brought your cloth down for me to wear. “I wish you are here to see all that is happening. Budding Afropop singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David a.k.a Spyro has purchased two houses at once, for himself and his business partner.

He took to his Instagram page to make the announcement as he shared photos of himself signing the deeds of ownership. The budding singer who had hit the limelight after dropping his hit single ‘Who’s Your Guy’, revealed that he had also purchased a house for his business partner.

Marveling over meteoric rise to stardom, he said that he had moved from zero to owning a property, noting that God has been good to him. In his words: “From Zero to owning a property…ah I #COUNTMYBLESSINGS big time. I didn’t just buy for myself. I bought the opposite unit for my business partner too.
