Onyebuchi Ezeh, a domestic staff, has been apprehended for allegedly mutilating the genitals and other body parts of a 72-year-old woman for the purpose of performing a money ritual.

Ezeh admitted to committing the act with the assistance of some friends, following the orders of a herbalist who promised them riches in exchange for the specified body parts. The incident reportedly took place in Umunze, Orumba North Local Government Area in Anambra, within the past week, and the elderly woman was rescued by her neighbours who took her to the hospital. According to Miss Chidinma Ikeanyionwu, the media assistant to the commissioner for women’s affairs and social welfare, the victim is currently receiving treatment at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, where the commissioner, Mrs. Ify Obinabo, paid her a visit. Ikeanyionwu said: “The incident was discovered after the survivor raised alarm on Thursday. One of her workers alongside two other men stampeded her in her house and cut off her genital organs including nipple, ear, fingers among others. “The culprit by name Onyebuchi Ezeh who was later caught confessed that they were sent by a native doctor to get the needed organs of the 72-year-old woman in order to become billionaires.” “The culprit hails from Abakaliki in Ebonyi state, and usually helps the victim in cutting palm-trees. He was said to have explained that they embarked on the act because they wanted to get rich according to the assurances of the native doctor.” The culprit is currently being detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Anambra State Police Command in Awka, and will be presented before the Children and Gender Based Violence Magistrate Court in Awka for trial in the near future.

It’s disgusting trying so hard to bring a human like you down for no single reason… Not everyone is heartless now, some of us are still sweet to friends and strangers even with all d evil you have said about us and all. Well…. I think I’m not Jesus. Is time i use my power and connect to teach some people lesson. God known have been sweet enough but some people are devil, just take them off ur way ONCE,” he wrote.

Chrisland school: “All the staff are under spiritual bondage”

A Nigerian lady identified as Joan Agun has alleged that Chrisland staff are under spiritual bondage. According to her, none of the staff after able to speak up whenever a situation arises because they are all under bondage. She further questioned why a top school like that has no available first aid in case of emergencies, and why there was no close monitoring of the kids after the installation of the electric equipment that allegedly got a young girl electrocuted. She wrote: “Kabiyesi Eledumare!!! 😥😥. I guess the matter is just making sense as to why none of the staff will talk when they’re probed. A businesswoman is left disappointed after discovering that her new staff looted goods worth N1.3M from her shop within two months of her employment.

A video making rounds on social media captured the ordeal of a businesswoman who almost lost goods worth over a million naira to a thief. The staff was said to have been accosted within the premises of the store with goods worth over N80K which prompted a need to visit her house.

Abducted son of assassinated Ex-CBN staff found dead

The corpse of the former ex-CBN staff assassinated on New year in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Oreoluwa Fatinoye has been found dead in a river.

It would be recalled that some unknown gunmen broke into the residence of the former staff of CBN within the Ibara Government Reservation Area (GRA), Abeokuta, and murdered the parents of Oreoluwa.
According to rumors, the deceased Oreoluwa was kidnapped alongside their maid in his parent’s residence in Ogun State after Kehinde and Bukola Fatinoye were killed.
On Tuesday, January 3rd, 2022, some fishermen discovered the decomposing body of a young man later identified as Oreoluwa floating on the river.
According to Daily Trust, both hands of the deceased were tied with rope to his back, apparently before he was thrown into the river.
The fisherman, Idowu Taiwo who discovered the body said;
“On Monday, we heard that someone was thrown into this river, but this morning while we were preparing for work, the police approached us and pleaded with us to inform them any time we discover the body.
“But, this morning, around 7.30, we discovered the body while we were checking on our equipment in the river. I called someone to help us get the number of the PPRO to tell him that we have discovered the body.
“Not long after, the police came and we showed them the body after we had brought it to the river bank.”

A young man who has lived identified on Twitter as Rashid has lamented over his stolen items from the Nigeria airport.

According to him, he has been out of Nigeria for four years and decided to return back home. However, he was welcomed with a big blow at the airport as an unknown airport staff robbed his expensive stuff from his suitcase.
The young man disclosed that expensive items like Givenchy perfume, plus other perfumes, bag worth over €400.
The man wrote, “This was how Nigeria airport staff welcomed me home after 4 years, stole my Givenchy perfume, other perfumes, bags, etc. As in I even bought this traveling bag for almost 400 euros”.
Sharing his story, some travellers shared their experiences and also advised him on what to do the next time he is traveling back to Nigeria.
