Seun Oloketuyi, the Chief Executive Officer of Ultimate Communications, has revealed that Lagos will serve as the venue for the screening of President Bola Tinubu’s biopic titled ‘Last Man Standing’. In a statement released on Saturday, Mr Oloketuyi shared the news following the successful premiere of the movie in Abuja during the last week of May.

Furthermore, Mr Oloketuyi disclosed that the movie premiere in Lagos will be hosted by Babjide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos state, on June 12. The specific venue for the event is yet to be announced. Recall that, President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, took office on Monday, 29th of May, 2023. The ceremony was held amidst strict security measures at the Eagle Square venue in the capital city, Abuja, which has a seating capacity of 5,000. To ensure a smooth event, a national public holiday was declared, and individuals without invitations were advised to refrain from attending. The opposition parties had contested the election results, raising concerns about potential unrest. During his inaugural address, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expressed that his swearing-in marked a significant moment for Nigeria. He acknowledged the hardships the nation has faced, which could have caused other societies to crumble. Nevertheless, he emphasized the collective resilience that has brought them to this juncture, where the promise of a brighter future aligns with their enhanced capacity to shape that future. Tinubu now assumes the role of Nigeria’s sixteenth president. In his words:
