The club in a tweet on X, announced the appointment of Jose Maria del Nido Carrasco, formerly the vice-president, as his successor.

Sevilla appoint new president – Getty image During Castro’s tenure, Sevilla experienced both glorious moments, as well as challenges, with a notable achievement being their seventh Europa League title win in May. The new president, del Nido Carrasco, is also no stranger to the club, having previously acted as de facto president, according to Football Espana. His official appointment is significant to Sevilla’s history, as he becomes the second member of his family to hold the prestigious position at the club, following in the footsteps of Jose Maria del Nido Benavente (2002-2013).



















The ban handed over to Paratici by the Italian FA over his involvement in Juventus’ recent corruption scandal was made global on Wednesday, March 29. The Athletic‘s David Ornstein reported that Paratici met with Spurs players on Friday, March 31, to inform them of the situation, before a joint decision was made with the club for him to step back from his duties from April 19, the date of the outcome of his appeal. Tottenham has now confirmed that they’ve parted ways with the Italian football executive. A statement on Tottenham’s website read; “This week – 29 March 2023 – the FIFA Disciplinary Committee announced a decision to extend the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) sanctions, relating to Fabio Paratici, worldwide. This decision was taken in advance of Fabio Paratici’s Appeal hearing against the FIGC sanctions on 19 April 2023, the result of which would then have been considered by additional stakeholders, including the Club.
