Tom expressed his admiration for the tireless efforts and commitment demonstrated by the three street sweepers. Selecting the recipients was an easy decision for him as he observed their outstanding performance in the designated area assigned by the government for sweeping.

Sharing the post, he wrote; “These three street sweepers deserve special recognition. They are the ones who keep the Street leading into our Governor’s Office clean everyday. The fair lady starts from the roundabout leading into the Governor’s lodge down to the gate leading into the Government House. “The other Man (the only male sweeper I’ve seen) takes it up from there down to Ministry of Social Welfare and Community Development. The other lady takes care of the suroundings of the Dup Process Office. “They all recieved their bags of rice with gratitude and prayers to the Donors. Let’s give them their flowers now that they are alive. We appreciate the work they do. May God bless them and their families.”

He said that his Nigerian instinct quickly kicked in and he pursued the bike man with all his might. The man revealed that he was getting close to the biker, who thought he wouldn’t pursue him, when he threw away the phone and rode faster. His tweet read: “A whole Lagos street boy like me… London boys nearly run me street this morning. While at the Bus stop checking my map to see when the next bus 🚌 will come, a guy on a bicycle 🚲 snatched my phone “Cheers mate”, and sped off. It’s today I know that I still have mad reflex. The way I ran after him on the main road ehn, even the cars had to stop… he thought he was sleek by not using the bicycle lane, thinking I would give up once he infiltrates the cars on the main road. The moment he realised I was very close to catching up with him and I was going to use my umbrella on his head, he dropped the phone on the road and zoomed off. It’s why I will never trust all these South Eastern London boys who go about with durags and face covers on bicycles. Anyways, I will soon leave this London for you people. 😔” See post below:

The 22-year-old housemate while speaking to her other colleague housemates said; “I was in the 300 level when I had to drop out. I cried a lot because of this. This made me go through a lot. I had to take care of myself. I don’t owe my mum anything because I was in the street way too early, bringing things home, she never asked me how or where I got them from. My father has never been proud of me. Uttering a statement like I’m a mistake.” “I was six months pregnant and didn’t know. I didn’t go for antenatal. The baby died and was decaying in me. My aunt took me to the hospital and lied that I had an infection. I was relaxed, my mom said I passed out five times. I don’t know how the doctors did it that my womb is still intact. I have to do a lot of dirty and nasty things because of my parents’ negligence. I dropped out from school in 300 level because there was no one to train me.” “Because I want money I’ve met a lot of men in “different sizes”, so even if you’re what, I’ve met your size, so just do the f#ck and stand up. Man I don’t enjoy sex, I don’t feel and it got fucked up when I had to start doing women, you know when I said I’m bisexual.”
