A Nigerian father, Dapo Ogundipe, breaks down in tears after his UK based daughter committed suicide over unfortunate relationship with a UK man. Narrating the ills of the relationship, he explained how it happened in 3 different stages before she finally took her life. He recalled how the boyfriend had infected her with a viral sexual disease, Herpes, at the start of the relationship. Knowing he had the disease which is permanent, he chose not to share with this girl, thus binding her to the relationship so she couldn’t transmit it to somebody else. He further explained how the UK man barred his daughter from talking to anybody else. The couple. The proud father said his daughter was a very focused and highly intelligent woman who worked with KPMG. The UK man however changed the trajectory of her life forever. He pretended to be a rich man with multiple businesses and promised to spend on her but in reality, he was not doing well for himself. He demanded money from her, stole her passwords and logged into her phone to take private information from her. He used that information to blackmail her and the final straw was when he pushed her out of his house violently. The daughter told her mother she wanted to go for a walk and jumped in front of a moving train in Manchester and tragically ended her life. 24-year-old housewife stabs man to death in Kano after he attempts to stop her from committing suicide

A 24-year-old housewife, Hafsat Surajo, has been arrested in Kano for allegedly stabbing 38-year-old man, Nafiu Hafiz to death after he attempted to prevent her from taking her own life. The spokesperson for the Kano State Police Command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the incident in a statement released on Friday, December 22, 2023. According to the statement, Hafsat Surajo confessed to stabbing the deceased multiple times with a knife. Her motive was reportedly thwarted suicide, with Hafiz attempting to prevent her from taking her own life.

The tragic incident came to light when Hafizu Salisu from Bauchi Metropolis reported to the police that he received a distressing phone call from Dayyabu Abdullahi, the husband of the accused, informing him of the death of his brother, Nafiu Hafiz. Upon reaching the residence at Unguwa Uku Quarters in Kano, the family discovered Hafiz’s lifeless body bearing multiple stab wounds.

Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, promptly ordered the Divisional Police Officer, SP Abubakar Chika Zaki of Zaria Road Division, to lead a team of detectives to investigate the matter. The body was swiftly moved to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where a medical doctor confirmed Hafiz’s death. The statement read; “On 21/12/2023 at about 0700hrs, report was received from one Hafizu Salisu of Bauchi Metropolis of Bauchi State that he received a phone call from one Dayyabu Abdullahi ‘m’ of Unguwa Uku Quarters Kano that his brother one Nafi’u Hafiz, aged 38 years, is dead and that they should come and convey the corpse for burial.” “When they arrived at the residence at Unguwa Uku Quarters Kano, they discovered several injuries on different parts of the lifeless body suspected to be knife stabs. “The Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, FIPMA, psc directed the Divisional Police Officer, Zaria Road Division, SP Abubakar Chika Zaki, to lead a team of detectives to the Scene and to conduct a preliminary investigation. “Upon arrival of the crime scene detectives, the motionless body was removed from the scene and rushed to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital where a Medical Doctor certified the body dead. “Further investigation led to the arrest of Hasfat Surajo, aged 24 years, a female housewife of the residence where the deceased lived. “Further investigation at the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department, obtained a confession by Hafsat who admitted that she singlehandedly committed the act by stabbing the deceased on several parts of his body with a knife while he was preventing her from committing suicide. “Her husband, Dayyabu Abdullahi, aged 38 years, ‘m’, of the same address, and their gateman Mallam Adam, aged 65 years were arrested for packaging and concealing the dead body and cover. “Meanwhile, through discreet investigation, the knife was recovered with a blood stain used resulting from committing the crime. South African lady shares country‘s tradition for suicide victims

A South African lady has shared their tradition of beating the resting dead who committed suicide so that it doesn’t reoccur in that family. Sharing the information on her Twitter page, @MapsMashigo, she revealed that she wasn’t aware it was a thing in the country until recently. According to her, her cousin had killed herself on Monday, and her mother was asked to beat her naked dead body as demanded by their tradition. In her words; “Yoh!!!!! My Cousin killed herself on Monday. Today they are going to beat her up while she’s resting so that this doesn’t happen again in the family. Woman in viral ‘Mummy Calm Down’ video reportedly committed suicide A woman believed to be the mother of Oreofeoluwa Lawal-Babalola, a young boy who recently went viral in a video begging his mother to ‘Calm Down’ and rest a little when she tried to whip him, has reportedly committed suicide. Recall that a video recently surfaced on the internet showing the moment a little boy went down on his knees to beg his mom after offending her.

Popular Hong Kong singer, Coco Lee dies at 48 after suicide attempt

Hong Kong-born American singer Coco Lee died at 48 on Wednesday following a suicide attempt that left her in a coma, Lee’s two sisters, Carol and Nancy Lee, said in a statement posted on Instagram and Facebook. Lee died in Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong, where she had been living.

Nigerian comedienne, Real Warri Pikin has revealed what happened to her and why she attempted to commit suicide in 2018. Real Warri Pikin and her husband Ikechukwu were in the news after the two celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary as they renewed their vows and love for each other.

According to the comedienne, between 2017 and 2018, she and her husband Ikechukwu were in serious debt and couldn’t pay. The incident she said made her attempt to take her life but did not succeed. She recounted how she was rushed to three hospitals after the incident. “In 2017/2018 my husband and I had financial issues. We were in debt and everything, so when I attempted suicide I’m June 6, 2018, I didn’t die. “They took me to about three different hospitals but in the last hospital when I woke up, I wondered why I didn’t die. I said God, you see this my story, I will use it to help others. “It means if God didn’t allow me to die then, he wanted me to use the story to help others around me and not keep it to myself. The fastest way I could do that was online and I had an Itel small phone that wasn’t clear enough. ”If you see my face ehnn, I be like Goat wey burn”, she said.

A 13-year-old young boy has reportedly committed suicide after being accused of stealing a mobile phone in Cameroon. According to a reporter in Cameroon, identified as Tata Benard Gibip, the boy was caught earlier attempting to stab himself over the false accusation but was stopped and cautioned. However, in the late hours of yesterday, Sunday morning, May 7, 2023, the young boy reportedly left home and hanged himself on a tree. “His lifeless body was discovered hanging from a tree after his absence was noticed. “Considering his tender age, many are wondering whether the allegation could actually push him to take away his life. Newly married woman commits suicide after setting husband ablaze over alleged infidelity

A newlywed, simply identified as Ife, has committed suicide after incinerating her husband over alleged infidelity in Osogbo, Osun state.
Prior to her death, Ife, who had suspected her husband, Bolu of cheating, had angrily annoted on her WhatsApp stories that she was taking a drastic action.

She had said that her man has “pushed her to the edge” and that people will weep over the two of them before daybreak.
Bolu, who lives in Cairo, but was visiting Nigeria, was reportedly set ablaze in his home, with all his properties destroyed.

He was rushed to the hospital while Ife was nowhere to be found.
Amid search, the young lady was reportedly found dead of suspected suicide.
