Young Nigerian lady based in the UK laments the redundancy of her fine girl privilege since she moved to the Queen’s country. A video making the rounds on social media captured the lamentation of a lady walking the road on a hot day without help from car owners.

Tragedy as UK-based Nigerian lady passes on 4 months to completion of nursing degree

A UK-based Nigerian Nursing student has reportedly died four months to the completion of her degree at the university. The news was broken on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter by a Tweep identified as @Mrbhadoosky.

It was reported that the Nigerian lady identified as Winifred Chioma George had passed on on the 21 of May 2023. Prior to her death she had been a nursing student at university of Hertfordshire and was only 4 months away to bagging her degree. @Mrbhadoosky who shared the incident described how moving abroad holds the deep fear of never seeing one’s family again. He wrote: “One of my biggest fears about migrating is the possibility of not seeing some friends & family ever again. Sadly, Winifred Chioma George, a Nigerian Nursing Student who was only 16weeks away from completing her nursing degree at the University of Hertfordshire died May 21 2023 💔”

A Nigerian lady residing in the United Kingdom has expressed her belief that Nigerian women back home have a better experience when it comes to receiving financial support from men. Two UK-based Nigerians, others jailed for murder involving fake Rolex watches (Video)

Two Nigerians, Temidayo Awe and Ikem Affia have been found guilty of manslaughter for their involvement in the murder of Saul Murray in Luton, UK. One of the Nigerians arrested, Awe a third-year undergraduate student at Coventry University, was involved in the death of a father of six over his fancy watches. Temitope Awe Murray was killed in a honeytrap robbery after Awe and three others plotted to drug and rob him due to the Rolex watches he had been seen wearing on Instagram which turned out to be fake. She was captured on CCTV leaving Murray’s flat, where he had been with two others, one of whom, Ikem Affia, was carrying a knife. Murray died from stab wounds.

Ikem Affia Detectives investigating the murder identified Affia as the main suspect responsible for Murray’s death after hours of reviewing CCTV footage. Two others, Cleon Brown and Surpreet Dhillon, were also arrested and sentenced for their roles in the killing. Judge Michael Simon told the sentencing hearing at Luton Crown Court that it was a “senseless” conspiracy to rob. As a result of the trial, the four were given the following sentences:

“Ikem Affia, 31, of Shore Place, London was sentenced to life in prison for murder and will have to serve a minimum of 25 years. He was also sentenced to 14 years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently. “Cleon Brown, 29, of King Edwards Road, South Hackney was sentenced to 11 years for manslaughter and nine years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently; a total of 11 years. “Surpreet Dhillon, 36, of Carnarvon Road, London was sentenced to 10 years for manslaughter and 10 years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently; a total of 10 years. “Temidayo Awe, 21, of Saunders Street, Gillingham was sentenced to seven years for manslaughter and six years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently; a total of seven years.” Watch the video below …

UK-based lady recounts how her neighbors called police on her because her kids were crying (Video)

A UK-based Nigerian lady has recounted how her neighbors called the police on her because her kids were disturbing the neighborhood with their cries. According to the lady who went online to give an account of the incident, her neighbors had come twice on two separate occasions to knock on her door.

They had complained to her that the kids were supposedly causing public disturbance with their cries. She said that on a particular day when her husband had left the city for training, the kids had chosen to use that day to cry more than before. The mother said that she heard a knock on the door on that day and when she opened the door, she found two uniform police personnels. In her narration, she said that they had stepped into the house and asked if she had any kids. When she said yes, and said one of them asked her to wait down stairs as he made his way upstairs to inspect the rooms for himself. Watch her narrate below:

The husband who has been identified as Baba Gamu reportedly visited the witch doctor first asking the spirits to kill his partner. After he was busted, he defended himself during a family meeting that he was informed by a lot of prophets that his wife was consulting witch doctors and allegedly using black magic against him. He added that his wife has also sacked him from their residence. A Nigerian dentist takes it upon himself to shush those who migrated abroad, particularly those in the UK about their frequent complaints on their hectic lifestyle.

In his words; “The things you left in Nigeria, did you build them in a year? Why do you want your life to suddenly transform in one year of japa? If you see progress, be thankful and keep pushing cos you’ll soon break through. Some of the things UK people say makes me puke. You get here and suddenly things that were considered luxury in Nigeria become your daily reality. You get things you couldn’t dream of buying in Nigeria, but you’re pissed you don’t have 20 thousand pounds in your account 12 months after traveling. What happened to patience? You complain about working too much, but you forget to mention that you get paid for every extra minute you spend at work. You’ve suddenly forgotten how you spent 5 hours on the road going to work in Nigeria, or how you got called in to do overtime without extra pay. In your 12 months here, police hasn’t stopped you once, you’ve never heard sound of generator or constant blaring of horns. You have constant power and superb internet, eat whatever you want without breaking the bank. Anytime you feel ungrateful, remember why you left Nigeria. UK-based Nigerian man laments the demand for money from relatives in his home country while emphasising how hard it is for those of them abroad.

A video making the rounds on social media captured the lamentation of a young man who complained about excess calls for money. He highlighted how it cost twice as expensive to raise children abroad while slamming Nigerians for giving birth to too many kids. The UK-based Nigerian insisted that greener pasture isn’t as green as many believed it is abroad; hence, the demand for money should be stopped. “If anyone abroad gives you N20K, worship them like God,” he said in part. UK-based Nigerian man reportedly quits his job over disrespect from his colleagues who are younger than him at his workplace.

A video making the rounds on social media captured a Nigerian expressing frustration from constant disrespect at his workplace. According to the man supposedly in his mid-30s, it was at first understandable when his colleagues struggled to pronounce his name ‘Adeola.’ It, however, became disrespectful when he was referred to as ‘mate’ by his manager who was barely 25.
