According to reports, the PDP standard bearer, together with his supporters, had refused to participate in the voting exercise over the accusation of the election being hijacked by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The election that leads to a democratic process is the best form of validating what true democracy is all about. “I want to reiterate that this contest is about peace, progress, and prosperity. Everyone has the right to be able to advocate for everyone to freely express themselves, fairly, and transparently,” he said.
