His applications to foreign universities, including renowned institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, were met with rejection. Undeterred by these setbacks, Obi turned his attention towards a European university. Despite the challenges, he applied and successfully secured admission to pursue his studies. Motivated to prove himself, Obi approached his academic journey with unwavering determination and commitment. To the astonishment of many, Obi not only surpassed his previous academic performance but also emerged as the best student in the European university. Four years later, Obi’s hard work and outstanding performance led him to the position of an associate professor. This accomplishment resulted in Obi obtaining a special visa to establish a software lab in London. He wrote; “I graduated with honours(2:2) for my undergraduate studies, which wasn’t an excellent feat. This was due to personal issues and strangely struggles against words spoken to me by a Prophet that I won’t do well academically if ever I chose that path. “I applied to 3 Universities in the UK for my Masters studies and got rejected. With that I applied to other Universities in USA, Canada and got rejected as well. With over 16 rejections, I proceeded with great determination to Cyprus to study. “I told myself I only could turn my story around. With increased focus and developed study patterns, I graduated with High Honours(3.8) for my Masters Studies and was offered a place for PhD and with same determines and few mistakes aswell, I graduated as the best student that year and was the Valedictorian. “Last year my software in BuildTech got approved by the UK endorsement body and this year obtained an Innovator Migrant Visa to establish a software lab in London.”

Reno Omokri confirms Tinubu attended Chicago State University

A socio-political activist, Reno Omokri, has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu attended and graduated from the Chicago State University. On Friday, the PEPC received a transcript from South West College, which was used to gain admission into Chicago State University by someone named Tinubu, who was identified as female. The transcript was admitted as evidence.

Reno Omokri confirms Tinubu attended Chicago State University

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his party tendered the document along with other documents to prove the allegations in their joint petition challenging Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the February 25 presidential election. Reacting, Omokri cautioned the PDP, saying Tinubu should not be attacked based on lies because God will lift him above his attackers. The staunch ally of Atiku stressed that Tinubu graduated with honours from the Chicago State University. Tweeting, Omokri wrote: “I worked for Waziri Atiku Abubakar to win. I pray he unseats Tinubu at the Presidential Election Petition Court. And I am not pursuing any political appointment or job offer from Tinubu. “However, it is false to assert that Bola Tinubu did not attend Chicago State University. I went there physically. I did a video broadcast from their campus. I met their officials. Tinubu attended and graduated from Chicago State University with honours, and they even have a photo of him in their alumni office as one of their most accomplished alumni. “Not only did I go there physically to expose Tinubu (only to find out that he attended), I also asked their registry to put what they told me in writing. “Attached is the letter they gave me. You can also go there physically, as I did, or email or phone them if you doubt this letter given to me. “The man is no saint. His past cartel links indelibly taint him. But let us be fair, honest and transparent as we oppose him. If we attack Tinubu based on lies, God will just disappoint us further and appoint him greater.”

In 2014, due to my frustrations with the admission process, I decided to enroll at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) to study Accounting. In 2017, during my final year and first semester at NOUN, I was inspired by my twin friends who were also my course-mates. One of them gained admission to UNILAG in 2015, and the other in 2016. Motivated by their success, I took the JAMB again in 2017, determined not to give up on my dream of studying at UNILAG. Thankfully, I was offered admission to study Finance at UNILAG. Currently, I am in my final year and will be completing my program this June 2023, by the special grace of God. The day I received my admission letter was one of the best days of my life because I accomplished it on my own, with the help of God. Nobody was aware of the entire process until I received the admission, and that’s when I shared the news with everyone. This experience has made me a firm believer in resilience, consistency, commitment, and being a goal-getter. There is nothing that cannot be achieved if you set your mind to it.” Months later, Akorede bagged a bachelor’s degree in finance and took to his Twitter page to celebrate his success. He shared some photos from his sign out while expressing gratitude on finally being a graduate.
