The Senator who previously represented Adamawa South at the National Assembly issued the statement on Saturday, 4th March in Yola. She extended congratulations to the declared winners, Senator Bola Tinubu and his running mate Sen. Kashim Shettima, for their victory. Bent stated that it would be a waste of resources and time for Peter Obi and Atiku to pursue a legal case.

Bent’s Statement to Atiku and Peter Obi “Engaging in a legal tussle on the widely adjudged most credible election will amount to only unnecessary distraction to hold down the process of leadership to thrive. “The presidential election results were a true reflection of Nigerians honest votes , you don’t need to waste your time and resources. “Going to court will lead them in exercise in futility with no positive impact in the judiciary and democratic systems. “I believe in the duo style of leadership, the ticket will unite us more than the thinking of many who are selfish to look at it from the religious point of view,” she said. “I wish them good tenure in office, I know in their ticket Nigerians will smile again,” Bent added.

“Get your PVC, we shall waste our votes in 2023 because structure has not helped us”

"Get your PVC, we shall waste our votes in 2023 because structure has not helped us"

Popular clergywoman, Sarah Moakwu has urged members in her church to make sure they get their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) ready ahead of the forthcoming presidential elections.
This, she said, will help them exercise their franchise in 2023 and will help them take a position following the fielding of Muslim candidates by the two major political parties: the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Noting that it is a total disrespect for Christians, the Abuja-based clergywoman hilariously said her congregation shall vote for a party without a structure.
Speaking on Sunday, she said: “That candidate that they said does not have structure, we are going to be ‘structurelessly’…Structure has not helped us.
“Structure has taken a way power from us, structure does not have electricity, structure is killing people, structure has left us jobless, structure has killed us. So we will be structureless and we shall waste our votes”
