Simi shared the interesting video as she kicked off a music challenge in her home, featuring her three-year-old daughter, Deja. Simi is married to popular Nigerian artist, Adekunle Gold. The challenge was inspired by Simi’s latest song, “Stranger,” and the video showed the singer going around her house trying to get people to sing. While Simi’s mother and other adults in the house struggled to hold the note, Deja managed to sing effortlessly, winning the challenge according to the singer’s followers. Fans were delighted to see the young girl’s talent and many commented on her adorable appearance. The Spanish side continued to push forward and had Wolfsburg’s defence on the back foot for large periods in the first half. But Wolfsburg made it 2-0 eight minutes before halftime. Goalscorer Pajor turned provider for the second when she whipped in a sensational ball into the box and Alexandra Popp was on hand to fire her header past Panos to put Wolfsburg in dreamland. Barcelona came out of the blocks quickly in the second half and pulled a goal back after just three minutes. Caroline Graham Hansen got past her marker brilliantly before laying the ball off to Patricia Guijarro who rifled her effort beyond Merle Frohms.

The 28-year-old Nigerian has been in fine form this season, scoring 26 times in all competitions, including five in the Champions League. Barca confirmed the news ahead of the game, with the striker injuring her left thigh.

The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup is less than 50 days out. Several players across both finalists will represent their national teams when the group stages kick off. Napoli’s Kim Min-Jae got the nod for best defender, beating out Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Milan full-back Theo Hernandez. The best midfielder award goes to Inter man Barella, ahead of Adrien Rabiot of Juventus and Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Lazio’s Ivan Provedel is Serie A’s best goalkeeper and he won the award ahead of Michele Di Gregorio of Monza and Bologna’s Lukasz Skorupski. There is also a separate award for best Under-23 Italian player, and it went to Juventus youth star Fagioli, beating Empoli’s Tommaso Baldanzi and Atalanta defender Giorgio Scalvini. The 2022-23 campaign will be wrapped up on Sunday, June 4, and there are still a few things to be decided, such as the final relegation spot and who goes into the Europa League or Conference League.

A first-half strike from Super Eagles star, Taiwo Awoniyi was enough to secure the win at the City Ground, and it also helped Nottingham Forest survive relegation from the Premier League.
