Fans disappointed as Wizkid is spotted in Ghana

Fans of popular Afrobeats singer, Wizkid, have expressed their disappointment in him after he was spotted attending an event while elections are ongoing in his home country.

The presidential election held in Nigeria on the 25th of February, 2023, with some states still carrying out the process. Nigerians have expressed disappointment in their favourite celebrities who kept mute during the elections. Fans of wizkid also lamented bitterly on how the singer was uninvolved in the process as a viral video captures him at an event in Ghana. Man slams Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy for not declaring support

A concerned Nigerian man lambasts the three biggest Afrobeat singers in the country, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy over their muteness in the coming presidential elections.

The social media called out the music stars a day before the 2023 elections set for Saturday 25th February. He claimed that Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido care less about their country or its political state. The individual pressed on to mention the crisis that faced the country in the past few weeks including Naira notes scarcity, fuel, and attacks in some parts of the country.

He concluded his speech by unfollowing all three music stars on their Instagram pages. How netizens reacted bullet_arabmonii wrote: “Leave davido out of it.. Ace musician Ayo ‘Wizkid‘ Balogun rolls out more adorable photos of his second son with his baby mama, Jada Pollock.

The musician who is known for his taciturn personality took to his Instagram page to show an unusual gesture of paternal love. He shared a cute photo of him and his new boy which exuded father-son bond, and another which captured him holding the baby steady to be captured by the camera.

Fans have gushed over the adorableness of the little boy who the remarked to have a striking resemblance with his father.

It would be recalled that the singer welcomed the child with his baby mama, Jada Pollock – who doubles as his manager – on 20th October, 2022.

Godson calls out DPrince for hating on Wizkid and Tiwa Savage

Uyi Godson, the associate of Afrobeats star Wizkid, has called out Don Jazzy’s brother, D’Prince for hating on Wizkid and Tiwa Savage.

The socialite took to his Instagram page to tell the talent manager that hating on Starboy and Tiwa Savage has to end this year. He also asked D’Prince, who manages budding singer Ruger, that he should stop feeding his artistes with hate.

Godson vowed to expose D’Prince when he’s sober and added that the crack they’re taking would likely bring them to ruin. Nigerian music talent, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid has given a shout-out to Nigerian side chicks as they celebrate their day. It is no longer news that yesterday, the 14th of February was Valentine’s day. Many Nigerian men were with their partners and barely had time for their other girlfriends, otherwise tagged, “side chicks”. Ace Nigerian singer, Wizkid, has been accused of ignoring a white man who approached him to shake hands with him in public.

In the video making the rounds online, the Made in Lagos (MIL) crooner was stopped by an oyinbo fan who wanted to shake hands. Wizkid had just arrived at the venue and was walking down with his security officials when the man stopped him.

However, Wizkid didn’t pay any attention to the fan. Reacting to this, the white man quickly withdrew his hand and walked away quickly. A mystery lady supposedly a close associate teases the superstar Afrobeat singer, Wizkid, about the need to act like a celebrity while she filmed him.

This comes days after an ex-member of the Plantashun Boiz, Blackface accused Big Wiz of running to avoid being served for committing a music theft. A video making the rounds on social media captured the moment Wizkid was fixated on his phone while a female voice beckoned at him. The mystery lady could be heard calling on the singer to react in a certain way that would make him look like a celebrity and not just a common person.

‘Wizkid is running to avoid being served over song theft’ – Blackface

Nigerian artist and songwriter, Blackface has alleged that artist Wizkid is running away from a lawsuit over song theft.

Blackface has accused Grammy award-winning artist Wizkid and music executive Banky W of theft of intellectual property. In 2016, Blackface accused Banky W and Wizkid of stealing his song titled ‘I Like The Way’ in making ‘Slow Whine’ and also accused them of sampling his song titled ‘Twist and Turn’ for ‘Ginger’, one of the tracks from Wizkid’s popular album ‘Made In Lagos’. Speaking in an interview with The Whistlers on Wednesday, Blackface disclosed he is yet to hear from Banky W and Wizkid since the issue popped up in 2016. He further added that Wizkid has been avoiding Nigeria in order not to get served with a lawsuit. He said: “I called them (Wizkid and Banky W) out for sampling my song ‘I Like The way’ which they changed to Slow Whine without my permission. “From that time, they have not reached out to me till today, in fact, I think that is the reason why Wizkid is not staying in Nigeria, he knows he will get served, so they are running up and down from Ghana to Benin Republic to Togo, nobody can find them yet, but once we see them and find out where we can reach them, we will serve them.”

Renowned musician, Orezi makes revelation on why WizKid rarely talks online as he reacts to the singer’s spat with comedian Mr Jollof.

You may recall that Mr Jollof had found himself being ridiculed after he tackled WizKid for his intended tour with Davido. Wizkid’s snide remarks had caused an uproar online and had also infuriated the comedian because he had insinuated that he begs for a living.
