Wizkid clarifies statement about ‘last concert ever in Lagos’, promises free shows (Video)

Internationally recognized singer, Wizkid Balogun, announces free show performance while clarifying his statement about having a final show in Lagos in 2022.

It would be recalled that the singer once made the announcement that his December show in Lagos would be his last.
During his concert on Christmas Eve, Wizkid eased the tension in the air by stating his actual intention.
According to Wizzy, he meant it in a good way and because of his love for Lagos fans, he intends to give them a free show henceforth.
In his words, “I have to start finishing my statements cos dem dey misquote me. What I really meant was, with the kind of love you all show me; it is very unfair to do shows around the world and come back to make you guys pay to wacth me. I wanna make a promise tonight; this will be the last time you will pay to see me.”

Ace Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has been making headlines following his interview with 12-year-old host of Jazzy’s World TV show, Jazlyn Guerra.
On Jazzy’s World TV, the young girl interviews celebrities from around the world ranging from sports niche to entertainment.

On her latest episode, she had Wizkid on the show with her, where they talked about how global recognition is being given to the singer and some other Afrobeats stars.
Jazzy went on to ask the Wizkid why Afrobeats is cutting across cultures and languages.

“Music is just a universal language. It is what you feel”, Wizkid replied in part.

Wizkid and Jada spotted together in Ghana following mini “breakfast”

Afrobeat singer, Wizkid and Jada, his manager have been spotted together in Ghana ahead of his Lagos beach concert.

This fresh development comes after the singer declared himself single some weeks ago. He had taken to his official Snapchat page, where he revealed that he had been single for too long.
His revelation came as a shock to netizens, who concluded that he had served Jada, one of his baby mamas who also doubles as his manager some hot breakfast.

Nonetheless, the surprise on the internet cannot be over-emphasized, after the duo was spotted in Ghana yesterday.
One thing that stood apart was the way Wizkid starred at Jada. It’s safe to say they are back again.

Netizens drag Stonebwoy for allegedly shading Wizkid

Some Nigerians have called out Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy for allegedly shading superstar Wizkid in his post.

Stonebwoy is currently in Doha, Qatar to perform alongside other artists at the FIFA Fan Festival. He has been seen in a series of videos and photos having fun with others including superstar, Davido.
On the 16th of December, 2022, Stonebwoy took to his Instagram Stories to share photos and videos from his meet-up with Davido with a cryptic message.
Stonebwoy in his post was appreciating his friend Davido while condemning the unnecessary pride and ego of others. It seems the comment passed by Stonebwoy did not go well with some Nigerians as some have called him out.
He wrote in one of his posts, “we see what we see…But we know what we feel. Positivity Reality & LOVE alone here…fire burn Ego and Unnecessary Pride @davido x @Stonebwoy”.

Wizkid will be the first and only Nigerian artist to perform at the World Tennis League

Wizkid continues to make Nigerians proud as he adds another feat to his ever-unending list of achievements.

Wizkid has just bagged a new feat, as he will be the first and only Nigerian artist to perform at the World Tennis League.
The World Tennis League is set to commence on the 19th of December 2022 and would witness see him side by side with other industry Big names such as NeYo, Armin van Buuren and to mention a few.
The Grammy-award-winning singer has been confirmed to be performing on the 20th of December 2022, which would be the second day of the competition, which would be held at the Coca-cola arena in Dubai.

Famous Afrobeats singer, Wizkid has been spotted hanging out in Cotonou with Lionel Talon, the son of the president of Benin Republic.
It would be recalled that the singer had failed to appear for his concert in Accra which was slated for 10th December, 2022.

Reports also made the rounds that he had failed to appear for his concert in Abidjan – an incident which resulted to his staff reportedly being detained.

New video has surfaced which captures the singer moving about in Cotonou with the president of Benin Republic’s son, Lionel Talon.

As Wizkid a.k.a big Wiz marks his 32nd birthday today, July 16th, the baby mama of one confirmed their relationship once and for all.
Taking to her Instagram story, Japa Pollock shared a photo of herself and the singer having dinner with the long-awaited confirmation.
“Happy Birthday 2 My King,” she wrote while tagging Wizkid on the photo.

Wizkid, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, made his official debut in the music space in 2011 and has been making the waves since then.
Wizkid, who is also known as Starboy, has garnered multiple awards in the Nigerian music industry as well as internationally.
In 2021, the singer became one of the first Nigerian singer to musicians to win a Grammy for his collaboration with the American songstress, Beyoncé on the song ‘Brown Skin Girl’.
In 2022, Starboy bagged an astounding 10 nominations in the Headies Awards after losing both Grammy Awards nomination.

Reactions as Wizkid captures pregnant baby mama, Jada P in recent video

Fans have reacted after the Grammy winner, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known as Wizkid shared a video that seemingly captured his pregnant baby mama, Jada Pollock.
Recall that a few weeks back, reports had it that the singer is expecting a second child with his baby mama cum manager, Jada P.
While the singer and Jada kept mute amid the rumours, fans were forced to believe the gist, especially with the recent video Wizkid shared via his Instagram stories.

In the series of videos, Big Wiz captured his son, Zion as they were jetting off to London. However, whether accidental or intentional, the camera showed a woman who seemed to be heavily pregnant seated in a car.
