Former BBNaija housemate, Uriel Oputa has lashed out on Nigerians who have the mindset of underestimating successful unmarried women. The reality star took to her Instagram story to berate Nigerians who believe a woman needs to be married to be deemed successful.
Uriel Oputa Uriel mimicked how some people say even if a woman is a billionaire or own a successful enterprise, she haven’t accomplished anything unless she is married. She asserted that it is a very useless mindset as some women prefer to stay unmarried. She warned that women’s achievements should not be downplayed simply because of marriage. In her words: “In Nigeria, if you like be a billionaire. Have the most successful business Be the most famous You haven’t accomplished anything unless you’re married. Very useless minded set. The Spanish side continued to push forward and had Wolfsburg’s defence on the back foot for large periods in the first half. But Wolfsburg made it 2-0 eight minutes before halftime. Goalscorer Pajor turned provider for the second when she whipped in a sensational ball into the box and Alexandra Popp was on hand to fire her header past Panos to put Wolfsburg in dreamland. Barcelona came out of the blocks quickly in the second half and pulled a goal back after just three minutes. Caroline Graham Hansen got past her marker brilliantly before laying the ball off to Patricia Guijarro who rifled her effort beyond Merle Frohms.

Source: Getty Nigeria’s Super Falcon star, Asisat Oshoala was unable to feature for Barcelona in the final after suffering a hamstring injury. The 28-year-old Nigerian has been in fine form this season, scoring 26 times in all competitions, including five in the Champions League. Barca confirmed the news ahead of the game, with the striker injuring her left thigh.

Source: Getty The Champions League final concludes the season for both clubs, with many of the stars on show in this game now turning their attention to the 2023 Women’s World Cup. The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup is less than 50 days out. Several players across both finalists will represent their national teams when the group stages kick off. The World Cup will begin on July 20 when co-hosts New Zealand face Norway and Australia welcome Ireland. 
This is coming after all charges relating to allegations of attempted rape, assault, and coercive and controlling behaviour, which were filed against Mason Greenwood were dropped. The Manchester United forward who was suspended indefinitely by the Premier League club after the accusations came to light, was initially arrested in January 2022 before being released on bail. He was subsequently arrested again for breaching his bail conditions and charged by prosecutors. It has now been confirmed all charges filed against him have been dropped. The Athletic reported that Manchester United Women’s team is “deeply uncomfortable” about the prospect of Mason Greenwood returning to first-team action at Old Trafford, and the men’s team is also reportedly ready to move on from him. 
Players in the women’s team who expressed concern about the prospect of Greenwood returning after hearing an audio that was released on social media before his arrest, said it is “not something that can be easily erased from memory”. Daily Mail had also reported that the men’s team led by Erik ten Hag want to move on from Greenwood and believe his return could disrupt their progress this season. On the other hand, the staff at Manchester United are said to be split on Greenwood’s future. Some feel the Red Devils own a duty of care to the 21-year-old, while others believe he should not wear the famous red shirt again. The club’s management has already said it would “conduct its own process” before determining the next step to be taken.
