"The world will know how wicked and deceitful you are" — Do2dtun calls out D'Banj

Famous OAP, Do2dtun, threatens to expose the veteran singer, D’Banj, over claims of making up lies about his divorce from the singer’s sister.

This comes amidst the divorce saga trailing the CoolFM OAP with his wife who accused him of domestic violence and forced abortion of their third child.
In a Twitter post, Do2dtun alleged that D’Banj made up lies to jeopardise his divorce case with the help of his lawyer rather than following the jurisdiction of the court.
He further noted that since the singer decided to take to an unprofessional approach, he is ready to open up cans of worms on him.

In a lengthy note, Do2dtun wrote;
“I have been quiet for the past two years… Several lies have been told, several attempts have been employed to pervert the course of justice. It is shameful when legal practitioners that are supposed to be learned, rather than submit themselves to the jurisdiction of the Court, choose to conduct the practice of the law like social media bloggers.
Anyways, @iambangalee of life, I have heard and read the spurious lies you, your half baked lawyer and your family have fabricated with the press and the police and I promise you, I am ready for you.
Since you have chosen to take the matter to the press, the entire world will now know how wicked, deceitful, ignorant and despicable you and your entire family are.
As for Taiwo, Mummy wa, God will heal your heart one day. i won’t stop praying for you.”

FIFA makes U-turn on 48-team plan for World Cup in 2026

FIFA president Gianni Infantino has said that the international football governing body may not be moving on with the 48-team plan for World Cup in 2026.

Before the new announcement, there was a plan to increase the number of teams competing in the tournament by changing the group format from eight groups of four to 16 groups of three.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the World Cup final this Sunday, December 19, Infantino implied that the 48-team plan could still be tweaked further, potentially back to the tournament’s original format but with added groups to accommodate for the new number of sides.

He said;
“We are really convinced of the growth, we have been approving a 48-team format with 16 groups of three, where the top two would move into a knockout phase.
“After this World Cup and the success of the groups of four and looking as well at some other competitions as well, like the Euros, they have been absolutely incredible in the sense that going to the last minute of the last match [to decide] who will go ahead [to the knockout stage].
“So, we have to revisit and discuss if that goes ahead, that is something that will be on the agenda in the next meetings. It is something we need to discuss, whether 16 groups of three or 12 groups of four are better.”

Deschamps who told journalists that winger Kingsley Coman is sick, said;

“Coman also had a fever this morning. In Doha, the temperatures have dropped a bit and you still have air conditioning on all the time. We have had a few cases of flu-like symptoms.

“We are trying to be careful so that it does not spread and the players have put in a great effort on the pitch and obviously their immune systems suffer.”
Deschamps further revealed that Upamecano fell ill after the quarterfinal match against England. He said;

“Dayot Upamecano felt bad immediately after the game against England. It happens when you exert yourself so much, your body weakens and you are more prone to getting these viruses.

“We’re taking all the necessary precautions, we’re trying to make sure it doesn’t spread, but viruses are of course infectious and we have to take precautions against them.

“We’ll separate him from the others and from Adrien as well.”
France is looking to become the first country to win back-to-back World Cups since Brazil did in 1958 and 1962.
