His notable displays included a crucial goal in Leverkusen’s 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund, a goal in the 3-1 victory against Paderborn, and an assist in the 1-1 stalemate against Stuttgart. He also scored a goal and an assist in the 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, followed by another goal in the commanding 4-0 win against Bochum.
