Wizkid dropped a song recently, featuring the international drake. He has been going all out this year with international collaborations here and there. Now while we are still anticipating the official release of “Come Closer” we have been informed via photos on Instagram that the video is already being shot and directed and ace director Alan Ferguson.
With Drake and Wizkid now making more collaborations, from Ojuelegba to One Dance, fans are already wondering if Drake would be in the video of his latest single, Come Closer, despite the fact that he featured in the released track.
After conducting an opinion poll on social media, we found out that while some fans have utmost confidence that Drake will be on the video, others aren’t sure about this Drake’s appearance as they didn’t see him at the scene of the video shoot, but this might be because of his ongoing tour in the UK.
Then again, we would remember that while Drake was in the UK between January 30th – February 17th, Wizkid came into the UK January 31st and stayed till February 22nd and shot the video in New-York city on February 25th and 26th, but at that time, Drake was performing in Germany and Netherlands respectively, so there’s a possibility they spent some time together in UK Drake already had a chance to shoot his own part of the video, so he might not be needed in the official shoot.
Here is a screengrab showing fans’ reactions anticipating the video:
