Grammy Award winner, rapper and husband to R&B singer Beyonce, Jay Z has been announced as a headliner at the upcoming V Festival coming up in August.
Hov will play at Weston Park on Saturday, August 19 and at Hylands Park on Sunday, August 20.
Following Eminem, Migos and a slew of other stars heading across the pond this summer, Bed Stuy’s finest will mark his return to the stage. Jay’s last tour- the Magna Carta World ended in 2014. No word yet on whether the emcee will deliver new music to his British fans.

Other big names include Stormzy, Jason Derulo, Sean Paul, Craig David and Dizzee Rascal. The festival announced about 30 performers expects to add more to the lineup. Sponsored by Virgin Media, the televised event spans over two days with performances at Weston Park in Staffordshire and Hylands Park in Essex, England.

In 2009, he was ranked the tenth-most successful artist of the 2000s by Billboard as well as the fifth top solo male artist and fourth top rapper behind Eminem, Nelly, and 50 Cent He was also ranked the 88th-greatest artist of all time by Rolling Stone.
