A man on social media has narrated his experience with an acquaintance who requested the hefty sum of N550k for her birthday dinner. He shared this on his account, @Elkrosmediahub, on the microblogging platform,X, where he stated that since that incident, he stopped wishing others on their birthday. He recalled wishing the lady a happy birthday early this year after which she asked him to foot the bills of 8 people at her birthday dinner. The man was left quite mindblown by her audacity and immediately blocked her everywhere. In his words; “Just remembered that I wished someone a happy birthday earlier this year, and response was “thank you o Mr Cross, please I have a favor to ask…” (I didn’t even tell her to shoot, before she went) -• “So I’m meeting with my friends later this evening as so so and so restaurant, and I’m thinking budget should be around 550k for 8persons, can you please handle that?” My brothers, I was in shock!!🤣🤣 Didn’t even bother responding, I just deleted and blocked everywhere. Young couple dies from generator fumes hours after birthday celebration

A young Nigerian couple has tragically met their end in Ugborikoko Community, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, as a result of inhaling generator fumes. The unidentified man and his girlfriend passed away in their sleep, following a night of celebration in honour of the lady’s birthday. According to reports, the couple had marked the occasion by visiting a night club on Sunday to revel in the festivities. However, their joyous celebration took a devastating turn as they succumbed to the lethal effects of generator fumes in the early hours of Monday, December 11. After leaving the nightclub, the couple reportedly proceeded to the lady’s shop, where they decided to turn on a generator before retiring for the night. Unfortunately, the decision proved fatal, and they were discovered lifeless before the break of dawn. Famous photographer dies a day to his birthday

A famous Port Harcourt, Rivers State-based photographer better known professionally as, Wildshot, passed away in an auto accident in the Wimpe neighborhood of the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area. Around nine o’clock on Friday, December 8, the photographer reportedly crashed into a structure while attempting to pass a trailer. The only child who passed away was allegedly at a well-known gymnastics facility in Port Harcourt when his mother from the Rumuola region contacted to inform that some alleged cultists were firing around her home.

Photographer, Wilshot. It was reported that the late Wildshot left his workout at the gym, got in his car, and drove to the scene, hoping to save his mother. Witnesses state that late Wildshot was driving quickly when he attempted to pass a trailer but lost control of his vehicle, crashed into a structure, and suffered life-threatening injuries. It was said that after being taken to two different hospitals in a hurry, he was turned away. At the third hospital where he was transferred, his death was formally declared.

Sadly, the photographer died a day to his birthday.

Little girl gets scholarship as she marks 5th birthday after involvement in accident

A content creator celebrates the fifth birthday of a little girl with a scholarship after she lost a leg in an accident two years ago. A TikTok user identified as @nanateawashere took to his page to share the progress of a young girl who narrowly survived an accident that claimed 20 lives in 2023.

According to Nana, the little girl’s recovery has been ‘miraculous’ despite the condition of her leg slowing down her chances to enrol in school in the last two years following the accident. While she marked her 5th birthday, Nana Tea offered to give her a scholarship that would cater for her academics. “In 2021 she survived an accident that claimed 20 lives. Unfortunately, she has lost one leg. Tomorrow is her birthday .❤️😍😍🙏 Happy birthday Angel,” he wrote.

The video has since generated heartwarming reactions from netizens who praised the content creator for his generosity.
