The defeat deals a potential blow to his former club’s title aspirations. Mavropanos who joined West Ham last summer after a stint with Arsenal, made a huge impact in the game, ensuring West Ham sealed all three points. The game saw West Ham take the lead with a goal from Tomas Soucek, which came amidst controversial VAR decisions.
