Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, has a reason to smile again as she receives N1 million from a businessman. Days ago, the rich businessman promised to give chef Dammy N1 million after watching a viral video of the chef buying roasted corn by the roadside.

A Nigerian who recognised her at the scene took a video of her and shared it on Instagram. While many criticized the celebrity chef, the kind businessman identified as Fekomi was moved with sympathy to assist her with N1 million.

Although some netizens thought the businessman was only chasing clout, he has proved naysayers wrong with photos of the chef holding a cheque of N1 million. While sharing the photos, he advised netizens to stop criticising the young lady as she made an attempt to break a record and should only be motivated.
