Details Of Ubi Franklin Weird Week
CEO of Made Men Music Group (MMMG), Ubi Franklin launched his lounge in Lekki Lagos on Sunday October 30.
Celebrities including Olamide, Annie Idibia, Tekno, AY, Gbenro Ajibade, Alexx Ekubo, Chioma Apotha, Omoni Oboli and more were spotted at the event, BUT his estranged wife, Lilian Esoro was MISSING.
Still on Sunday, Ubi shared with us that he’s gifted his cousin, who also doubles as his PA, Omini Otah a brand new Honda Accord car.
Fast forward to Monday morning; Iyanya confirmed his SWITCH from MMMG to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
It wasn’t good news for Ubi. He supposedly co-owned MMMG with Iyanya – who introduced him to the WORLD.
And on Tuesday November 1, something more controversial happened.
The date marked his FIRST wedding anniversary with Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro.
Ubi took to Instsgram to share a lovely message in celebration of the special day, but no WORD was heard from his estranged wife, which is unusual.
This move has caused debates online; suggesting his marriage with the actress is on the rocks.
The couple got married in the presence of family and celebrity friends on November 1, 2015 at the Imperial Coliseum in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. They welcomed their first child, a boy, in the United States on July 18.
Lilian is purportedly in the U.S where she’s receiving care after childbirth, but sources told us she’s back at her parents’ residence in Magodo, Lagos.
Thenetng reached out to the record label executive to get comments, but he told us he needs privacy concerning his marriage.
It’s indeed been a weird week for Ubi. We hope the truth is revealed soon.
