Biodun Oyebanji originally known as Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, is a Nigerian politician who is currently the Governor of Ekiti State. He was born on December 21, 1967. On behalf of the All Progressive Congress (APC), he won the election for governor of the state of Ekiti on June 18, 2022. He belongs to the Nigerian Yoruba ethnic group. He started his academic career, by attending several schools such as the Baptist Primary School in Ikogosi-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, and Awo Community High School before beginning CAC Grammar School in Efon-Alaaye, Ekiti State, in 1979.
