A woman who lived in the US with her family recently relocated back to her hometown in Uganda. She shared a video of her toddler who quickly got accustomed to the village lifestyle despite being born abroad.
In the video, the toddler was seen carrying a can to fetch water from a public tap. The video was captioned:
“POV… My daughter after I moved her from the US 🇺🇸 and took her to the village in Uganda 🇺🇬.”
Reacting to the video, @Nazir_Of_Uganda questioned: “Was the song necessary? 😂” @Mumbejja Gloria wrote: “The song really makes me cry 😂😂😂😂😂 but that our Uganda.” @💙Lordfame🔐 said: “The song wagwan. It’s like e ka kid was suffering 😂😂.” @OG Kitty Committee commented: “When I was little, my parents took us to rural Alabama where we had to pick and shuck peas. The boys killed a goat that was later dinner. These are not positive memories. The simpler like is not for me. Oh, I also saw my grandfather wring a chicken‘s neck in preparation for dinner. 😳.” Watch the video below: @through_oshin_eyes When I decided to move from the US🇺🇸 I was very worried how my kids would adjust to living in Uganda 🇺🇬, but kids are so amazing they adjust so easily! #wereinuganda #Uganda #villagelifeinUG🇺🇬 ♬ original sound – mamietjie1
