How It Went Down On #MusicBusinessTalk With Kolawole Scoop
Founder of Scoop Concepts Media, Kolawole Sunday Omoboriowo gathered the industry stars to talk new ways of music promotion in the Nigerian music industry at the just concluded ‘Music Business Talk’ annual conference put together by MeetsMedia.
Some of the speakers at the conference includes: DJ Neptune, Aramide, Kenny Blaq, Dayo Amusa, Woli Arole, Joey Akah, Oye Akideinde, MC Lively, Demola Expoze, Uche Ugo, Dro Ameh, Tosyn Bucknor, DJ Lambo, Bugwu Aneto-Okeke and others.
The conference which took place at the BWC Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos discussed New Ways Of Music Promotions in the Nigerian music industry. According to the host, Kolawole Omoboriowo,“Nigerian music industry needs restructuring and the earlier we put up the right hands, the better it will become.”
He also mentioned the growth of Afrobeat around the world,
“The Afrobeat genre of music has taken over in past few years and Nigeria has been in the forefront of this global linking. It’s no news however that digital media has greatly influenced and enabled music promotions and distribution.” He said.
