Lukaku's lawyer meets with Inter as Chelsea future remains uncertain

Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku is preparing a move to his former side, Inter Milan, less than a year he made a £97.5m switch.
Reports say the striker has commissioned his lawyer to check the possiblity of his return to Inter after a difficult comeback season at his childhood club.

An unsanctioned interview, injury and Thomas Tuchel’s unwillingness to play to his strengths have left Lukaku unsettled.
Though Inter wants to bring him back to the San Siro, the Italian club will be faced with some challenges that borders on his enormous transfer fee and wages of more than £325,000 a week.
Lukaku scored 64 goals in 95 games for Inter in two seasons, playing a major part in their 2020-21 Serie A title success under Antonio Conte, but has been unable to replicate that form at Chelsea.
He also started 16 Premier League games and ended the campaign with 15 goals from 44 appearances.

Sadly, his time with the club is about to end unceremoniously as the UK Guardian confirmed that Inter held talks with Romelu Lukaku’s lawyer on Tuesday May 31, to explore a possible move from Chelsea.
