News coming in says that a well-known Kannywood film director, Aminu Surajo Bono, reportedly died on Monday evening. According to reports, the director collapsed on Monday night and was quickly taken to the hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him dead upon arrival. On Tuesday, the deceased will be buried in accordance with Muslim customs. Actor Ali Nuhu honored Bono in an Instagram message on Monday night, confirming his passing.

Dantata’s wife died in a hospital located in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The family has asked for prayers for the departed soul and for Allah to forgive her, accept her good deeds, and grant her the highest position in paradise. Sanusi Dantata, her grandson, confirmed the news of her demise on his verified Twitter account on Saturday. “Please pray for our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Haj. Rabi, wife of Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who died yesterday after a protracted illness! “May Allah forgive her, accept her good deeds, and grant her the highest rank in Paradise, Ameen! “Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihirrajiuun!,” he tweeted. Mama Rabi, as she was commonly referred to, fought a prolonged illness and eventually died in her late 70s. She was Aminu Dantata’s second wife and is survived by her spouse, six children, and several grandchildren. One of her children, Tajjuddeen Dantata, is a prominent personality in Nigeria’s business circle.
