Argentinian football star, Enzo Fernandez has been subjected to disciplinary action by Benfica after missing two training sessions with the club.

Record reported that Benfica had asked Enzo to return to the club immediately after the World Cup which his country won, but he missed two training sessions without permission. He reportedly returned to Argentina to spend New Year’s Eve in his homeland after Benfica’s defeat to Braga on December 30.
Though he’s been sanctioned by the Portuguese side, 21-year-old Enzo who won the Young Player of the Tournament award at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, is already a player in demand.
