NIDCOM boss, Abike Dabiri, reacts to reports of Nigerians stranded in the middle of nowhere amidst evacuation from Sudan. Reports had made rounds on the internet following a cry for help from Nigerian students who were stranded for hours while exiting the North African country.
The students claimed that the drivers stopped in the middle of nowhere over non-payment for the trip embarked on. Addressing the issue, Abike Dabiri in a Twitter post affirmed that the issue has been resolved and the students are once again on their war out of the war-ridden country.
“I have just spoken to @nemanigeria dg. He confirmed the buses have continued their Journey and said whatever issues have been resolved,” she wrote. I have just spoken to @nemanigeria dg.
