Susan Emma, ex-wife to Emeka Ike sheds more light on their former marriage as she revealed she wanted to become an actress but he refused. Speaking in an interview with Chude, she exposed how much abuse she endured during their marriage. She claimed it started off as verbal, mental abuse before it transitioned into financial abuse and finally physical. Susan Emma narrated how her ex-husband, Emeka Ike, refused to let her work.

Furthermore, Susan recalls being forced to make a move for their wedding to hold as she was already heavily pregnant with their second child before he agreed to tie the knot.
