However, PSG gradually increased pressure after halftime, taking the lead in the 63rd minute as Diakité’s challenge on Lucas Hernandez resulted in a penalty. Kylian Mbappé confidently converted from the spot, to mark his 50th goal of the calendar year, a tally which has also been reached by Harry Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo.
