Veteran Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle, speaks on why she retained her ex-husband’s last name ‘Doyle’ despite their divorce.

It would be recalled that the thespian confirmed in a recent interview that she and her ex-husband had separated; after which Patrick Doyle’s marriage to another woman surfaced. In a recent post on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, Ireti penned a post on how she followed the fame and fortune that came with her career.

Curious fans, however, questioned the veteran actress on her reasons for keeping her ex-husband’s last name despite their divorce. Ireti stated that the last name became hers already because of the many years of career she had with it. In her words, “Ireti Doyle” is a name that is nearly 30 years in the making. It’s my mine.”

Sharing a video of herself on her Instastory vibing to Burna Boy’s song, Hazel captioned it “una go dey alright.”

In another post, Nedu’s ex-wife shared a death threat from a troll who condemned her over her paternity issue with her ex-husband.
“Shut up you witch you give person another man child come the talk about domestic abuse them no beat you well if nah me i for kill you,” the troll wrote.
In response, she wrote, “death threats up and down … one of many.”

Veteran Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has reacted after she was roundly ridiculed by her ex-husband’s cousin over claims of feeding him while they were married.
It would be recalled that the actress had taken to her Instagram page on the 12 to allege that she had been the one feeding her husband, Churchill Olakunle and his mum.

Churchill’s cousin, Adesioye had lambasted while dismissing her claims; she noted how wealthy Churchill had always been, and that his mum had been staying abroad for over 30 years.

Reacting to her lengthy diatribe, Tonto Dikeh said that she’s too busy with her new found career in politics, and adding to it her maternal duty as a single mum is a lot of work, so she’s choosing to stay focused.
She added that she wouldn’t be pushed around into reviving a brand which had existed due to her influence.
The actor cum politician dared the culprits concerned to deny what she had said and she’d be ready.

Funke Akindele drops ex-husband’s name, puts entertainment career on hold as she officially declares herself as running mate to Lagos State PDP gubernatorial candidate (Video)

Highly-rated thespian, Funke Akindele has officially confirmed reports that she is the running mate of the Lagos State PDP gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Olajide Adediran.
In a recent video shared via her official Instagram page on Tuesday, July 12, the mother of two announced her bold step of venturing into politics while putting her entertainment career on hold.

The thespian pledged to work alongside the Governor to see that the interest of youths and women are ably represented peradventure they assume the office come 2023.
She said,
“I saw it as an opportunity to help liberate and improve the wellbeing of our people, particularly the deprived youth, women, and the girl child.
“My decision is not just to accept this huge responsibility but to also work tirelessly and complement Jandor’s burning desire to see our dear Lagos live up to its full potential.”
However, at the end video, while reintroducing herself, Funke Akindele omitted ‘Bello’ (her estranged husband’s name).

In a recent post via Instagram, Maureen Esisi dropped tips on how to satisfy a good wife while sharing a dazzling photo of herself.
“A good Woman is not hard to please:
– Don’t lie to her
– Don’t waste her time
– And don’t make her look stupid especially for loving you,” she wrote.

The post, however, is not certain if it is a tip to her ex to treat his new wife better than he treated her or it is a subtle shade.
