“Depression caused me to start drinking” – Hanks Anuku speaks on health condition

Hanks Anuku, a seasoned Nollywood actor, has disclosed that he started drinking because he went into depression. The actor has shared a video responding to claims that he became severely addicted to drugs. It’s no longer news that Anuku has been the target of drug-related rumours in recent times, mostly because of his unsettling new appearance. However, the actor unequivocally declared that he doesn’t use narcotics in a video posted to his Instagram story. He went on to say that he had turned to alcohol for comfort when he was depressed. Hanks made the headlines some days ago following his conversation with a stranger at a petrol station in Asaba where he reflected on his experience in the entertainment industry.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku stormed a recent party held by his colleague Zubby Michael following rumours that he’s mentally unbalanced.

You may recall that the actor had been reported to have been seen in the streets of Asaba wandering in shabby clothes.
