Apostle Chibuzor, widely recognized for his philanthropic endeavors, had earlier shared a photograph of himself confined to a sick bed in the hospital, sparking concerns among his followers. Deeply devoted to their spiritual leader, members of the OPM community held fervent prayer sessions on his behalf, seeking divine intervention for his well-being. In a heartwarming display of support, the church’s official Facebook page released multiple videos documenting these prayer gatherings. One such caption revealed that over 620 students, beneficiaries of the OPM Overseas University Scholarship at ESM University in Benin Republic, had organized fasting and prayers specifically focused on the healing of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, whom they referred to as the “Icon of Free Education.” Additionally, the OPM Free School for Children born with Autism and Down Syndrome also conducted a fasting and prayer session for the revered cleric’s recovery. Grateful for the overwhelming support and intercession from his congregation, Apostle Chibuzor has now recuperated and is currently in a resting phase after receiving treatment. Church members who have been eagerly awaiting news of his progress expressed relief at his recovery and affirmed that he is in stable condition. During a recent church program, monitored by The Nation, a cleric from OPM assured the congregation that Apostle Chibuzor would address them the following Sunday. He urged everyone to continue praying for the apostle’s complete restoration while emphasizing that the period of rest was necessary due to his excessive workload.
