"Cooking on Water" - Man stuns many as he invents of cooker that uses water and little fuel

A talented Nigerian man, Manume Nicholas, from Rivers state, has successfully created a cooker that operates using a combination of water and fuel, Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) fuel. In an exclusive interview with Legit.ng, Nicholas shared the details of his groundbreaking invention, emphasizing its efficiency and potential to alleviate the impact of soaring gas prices. Nicholas, an alumnus of Abia State Polytechnic with a background in Architecture, revealed that he dedicated two months to intensive research on the technical aspects of the cooker. The entire development process, from conceptualization to production of a single unit, incurred a cost of N10,000. He expressed his commitment to scaling up production for mass availability in the market. The innovative cooker, showcased in a video provided to Legit.ng, demonstrated its functionality by being filled with a mixture of 80% water and 20% fuel. Nicholas explained that this unique combination aims to address the escalating costs associated with conventional gas usage. “It is my invention and it uses water and little fuel. That is 80% water and 20% fuel. It is intended to cushion the effect of the high cost of gas. I have been doing research on so many things, Nicholas said. The video showcased the cooker burning with the same efficacy as a gas-powered stove. “I didn’t study that in school. It is my talent, and I intend to produce it in mass before it hits the market,” he added. When questioned about the safety of utilizing a cooker partially powered by PMS, Nicholas reassured the public that it is safe. In his words; “It is very safe. The water plays a major role in splitting the components.”
