French football star, Ousmane Dembele might be out for some time as he suffered an injury during Barcelona’s clash with Girona on Saturday, January 28. Dembele played for only 26 minutes and was replaced in the match which Barcelona won 1-0 by Pedri. Speaking after the match, the club’s coach, Xavi Hernandez said; “Dembele is a difference-maker. I think he’s injured, and it’s a real shame. He felt something in the quadricep.” Medical tests conducted on the Barcelona star who limped off the field grabbing his leg, produced worrisome results. Tests revealed that the player had suffered a left thigh injury to the rectus femoris. His recovery timeline is yet to be determined.
