It would be recalled that the singer came into the limelight following his participation on the reality show after which he released his musical album.

Thress years, however, have passed since the singer’s exit from BBNaija as the winner and his music career seems to be receding. In a post via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, Daniel Regha called out Laycon for losing his touch with fame and his music career. He further blamed his decline on releasing his album before sustainable fame. “Laycon is a promising upcomer, but it’s not by “Awa fierce” or online hype, he should’ve built his presence as a musician before dropping an album. He has no hit single, his 2021 projects underperformed & his popularity has faded since after BBN. Best wishes though. No offense,” he wrote.
Speaking in an interview with Sunday Scoop, the actress said she deliberately engages in controversies on social media to gain popularity. Esther Nwachukwu said; “I am not a prostitute. I just decided to become controversial because I wanted to trend. I have been to so many auditions, but in the end, if one does not have money to produce one’s own movie or pay directors to give one a lead role, one would keep being a ‘handbag’ (being relegated). That is now what I want. I have auditioned for Big Brother Nigeria more than six times. I even got to the final stage but they did not pick me. “I have also been in Nollywood with nothing to show for it. It is either the director wants to sleep with one in exchange for a role, or one had to pay money, which I considered to be nonsense. That was why I decided to become controversial.” The actress who had in the past disclosed that she prefers dating married men, explained why she made the decision.
