Femi Fani-Kayode, FFK takes to Twitter to boast about the outcome of the Lagos gubernatorial elections, held on the 18th of March, 2023.
The narrative, “Lagos is no man’s land” was pushed, following claims of Labour party Gubernatorial candidate, Ggbadebo Rhodes-Vivour being an Igbo man. Many found the statement discriminating and claimed that Lagos belongs to no one, as it consists of inhabitants of all Nigerian tribes. Taking to Twitter, FFK mocked the alleged thuggery and intimidation reported all around Lagos polling units. He claims that the election was free and fair. Furthermore, he insists that “those that believed that Lagos is a “no man’s land” have been roundly defeated, badly humiliated.”
