Manchester United booked a place in the FA Cup final after Penalty shoot-out victory against Brighton at Wembley in the semi-final. Manchester United advance to the FA Cup final to take on Manchester City on June 3 by beating Brighton and Hove Albion 7-6 on penalties after the game finished 0-0 after extra-time. Neither side could take their chances in 120 minutes of action before the contest went to penalties. The opening 12 spot-kicks were all successful, but Solly March was the unfortunate man to miss as he blazed his strike over the bar. Victor Lindelof was on point with his effort to send the Red Devils through to their second domestic final of the season. Both clubs return to Premier League action next week. Brighton are on the road to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, while United travel to face Tottenham on Thursday.
