The Fashion Souk returns this summer and it promises to be something different with a showcase of the best of Everything Fashion; Looks, Lifestyle & Business at what the organisers are describing as “a niche fair”. Planned tohold over the Sallah weekend on Saturday July 9 and Sunday July 10 at Harbor Point in Lagos, it will be a showcase of the latest fashion trends, beauty products and accessories.
One of the stand-out exhibitors is Blends and Blingz, which is inviting visitors and shoppers to a special “Scent, Sip and Shop” experience.

Visitors to the Blends and Blingz stand will go through a titillating olfactory experience, enjoy fine wine and leave with a signature fragrance or two that will make them stand out.
According to a statement from the company, “the man and woman of style is never fully dressed without a nice fragrance and at Blends and Blingz we have a wide range of perfumes, oils, scents and candles as well as jaw dropping diffusers. Most are bespoke and we will be launching our Onome and Korede fragrances during the Souk,”
Stop by at the stand and immerse yourself in bespoke fragrances and aromas.

A video currently making the rounds on social media captured moment a swarm of bees stormed a vendor’s shop in Lagos.

The vendor as well as those around had taken to their heels as they tried to avoid being stung by the countless number of bees which stormed the shop.
Although while speculations keep flying around the net, cause of the bee attack is still yet to be ascertained.

Netizens have although aired their opinions as some speculated that it might be an attack from the vendor’s village, while others say it might be a bad omen as swarm of bees are said to be harbingers of bad news.

Suspected ritualists kill 22-year-old lady in Osun, dump corpse behind her mother's shop

A day after she was declared missing, a 22-year old lady identified as Shakirat has been found dead.

According to sources, Shakirat had gone missing since March 9th, and was last seen in the early hours of Wednesday afternoon.
To this end, a massive search was conducted for her which led to the discovery of her corpse at the back of her mother’s shop on Thursday, March 10th, at Oke-Oore, Iwo, Osun state.
Report say the victim was murdered and dumped at the location she was found by suspected ritualists.
A source cited by The PUNCH said: “She was last seen Wednesday afternoon and her family members became worried when she did not return in the evening. Her corpse was found behind her mother’s shop very early on Thursday. Some police operatives later came and took the body away. We later learnt that they took her to morgue in Iwo General Hospital.”

Yemisi Opalola, spokesperson of the Osun police State Police Command, who confirmed the development said police had commenced investigation into the incident.
He also added that the command wanted autopsy to be carried out on the corpse, but “the family insisted on burying her and we have released the corpse to the family.”
