Nigerians express frustration and anger after locating a dumpsite where loads of shredded old naira notes were found amidst scarcity of cash in Nigeria.
Following the redesign of the naira notes, Nigerians have been forced to use the cashless policy leaving many with little or no physical cash. A video making the rounds on social media, however, captured a pile of shredded old naira notes of mixed denominations reportedly disposed of by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Voices of Nigerians heard in the background of the video lamented bitterly about the struggle to get physical cash while digging into the pile of shredded Nigerian currency.
