Todibo’s impressive to performances for Nice this season have attracted significant interest, with Tottenham having previously pursued the French centre-back. Following Tottenham’s failed attempts to secure Todibo, Chelsea, despite substantial recent defensive investments, has now engaged in talks with Nice. Meanwhile, Manchester United, now under shared ownership with Nice through INEOS, remain interested in Todibo but are unlikely to make a move before the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The 29-year-old England striker reached the landmark with a low finish against Manchester City in his 304th Premier League game for Spurs. With the goal, Kane struck off Jimmy Greaves’s long-standing record to become Tottenham’s all-time top goal scorer. The England captain drew level with Greaves on 266 goals for the north London club when he fired in the opening goal against Fulham at Craven Cottage on January 23. Greaves, who started his career at Chelsea, scored 266 goals in 379 games for Spurs between 1961 and 1970. Kane, who made his Spurs debut in 2011, overtook Greaves’ record after 415 appearances for the club. 
“The Club has reviewed its CCTV footage to identify the supporter and will be working with the Met Police, Arsenal and Aaron Ramsdale to take the strongest possible action, including an immediate ban from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.” The Professional Footballers’ Association also released a statement which read; “Violence towards players is completely unacceptable. These types of incidents are happening far too often. “Players have a right to be safe in their place of work. When a player is attacked we expect the laws and regulations that are in place to protect them to be properly enforced. 
“As the players’ union we treat this as a priority issue. We will be continuing to work with the authorities to demand that players and staff are better protected in their place of work.” Also reacting to the incident, the English FA said in a statement; “We strongly condemn the incident involving a spectator that followed today’s Premier League fixture between Tottenham and Arsenal. This is wholly unacceptable behaviour and we will work together with the police, the relevant authorities and the clubs to ensure the appropriate action is taken.” Arsenal has now has 47 points from 18 games, eight ahead of second-placed Manchester City.
