The British Broadcasting Commission (BBC) has announced the list of 100 most Inspirational and innovative women of 2017, and Mavin Records first lady, Tiwa Savage made the list.
According to BBC, “Singer, songwriter and philanthropist Tiwa Savage is an integral member of the Afrobeats scene and plans to open a music school.”

Other women who made it on the list are Talent Jumo, a Zimbabwean activist, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf from Liberia, Marieme Jamme from Senegal, Chaima Lahsini from Morroco, Anita Nderu, Adelle Onyango, Naomi Mwaura all from Kenya.
