Wizkid is on his way to becoming a legend!
The ‘Daddy Yo’ singer has just been nominated for 7 categories in the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, and it is all thanks to his smash hit collaborative single ‘One Dance’ with Drake.

And this heartwarming update comes just days after Wizikid dropped yet another trending song ‘Come Closer’ featuring the same Canadian superstar. The new song generated massive controversy because Drake did not feature in the music video. However, Wizkid explained why the rap god was absent, noting that they were at different locations at that time.
Now, the duo, who dominated the charts in 2016, are getting all the recognition they deserve.
In this list, Drake leads the pack with 22 nods, Rihanna got 14 nominations, Beyonce followed with 8 nods, while our Daddy Yo got recognised in 7 categories.
We hope he emerges victorious on May 21, when the award ceremony airs.
