“Yahoo boys will be the poorest people in Nigeria in 10 years time” – Nigerian man

In a viral video that has captured the attention of Nigerians, a Nigerian man who happens to be a life coach and soothsayer has issued a stern warning to young people involved in internet fraud, commonly referred to as “Yahoo Yahoo.” With a compelling narrative and heartfelt message, the life coach predicts that those engaged in such activities will face extreme poverty in the next 10 to 20 years. The video, shared widely across social media platforms, features the award-winning content creator recounting a story passed down from his father about the prevalence of internet fraud in the 1980s. He highlights how some individuals involved in these fraudulent practices initially achieved financial success, building lavish houses and enjoying a life of luxury. However, their fortunes eventually crumbled, leading to loss of wealth, untimely demise, or shattered families. Casting light on the unsustainability of internet fraud, the life coach emphasizes that acquiring skills and making oneself valuable are far more effective in attracting lasting wealth. He urges young people to focus on personal development and invest in skills that can lead to legitimate and rewarding careers. See below;
