Veteran Nollywood thespian, Iyabo Ojo, has composed a heartfelt homage to her spouse, Paul Okoye, in honour of his 56th birthday festivities.

The mother of two eloquently expressed the intensity of her affection towards her partner, while pledging an everlasting bond between them. Iyabo Ojo further uploaded a video of her hubby while showering him with accolades. “Happy 56th birthday to the love of my life, @pauloo2104 words can’t describe how much i love you, but know that it’s a forever deal Obim ❤️🥰…..,” she wrote.

A Twitter user has gone on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, where he opined that pregnancy is not as hard as women make it look.

The user shared that he does not think that pregnancy is easy, but at the same time, does not think that theprocess is as easy as women make it look. He buttressed his point by adding that the woman’s body was typically designed to carry out such a function. In that light, it cannot be that hard. His post has set tongues wagging on Twitter, as many think that he was insensitive. He wrote: “I don’t think pregnancy is easy, I just think it’s not as hard as women make it out.. Cause like your whole body by design was made to do that shit, just like knives were made to cut it’s not hard for them to do that.. It’d be hard for a spoon to cut something, but not a knife. All I’m saying is, if basic life skills like cooking and cleaning are difficult to you, of course pregnancy is gonna be hard.. But if you’re not a simple sally, you should be just fine .. Erik ten Hag confirms Wout Weghorst could stay at Manchester United for another season

Manchester United coach, Erik ten Hag has confirmed that on-loan striker Wout Weghorst could still be at Old Trafford next season. 30-year-old Weghorst who has scored just two goals for the Red Devils since his arrival in January, still has more than two years left on the contract he signed when he arrived at Turf Moor in a £12 million deal from Wolfsburg. He caught the eye while playing for the Netherlands at the World Cup and has become a cult hero at Old Trafford thanks to the fiercely-competitive attitude that saw him clash with Lionel Messi in Qatar. Guardiola denies ‘disrespectful’ celebration against Liverpool

Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola has reacted to claims of engaging in a “disrespectful” celebration after his team defeated Liverpool 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, April 1. Guardiola appeared to celebrate Julian Alvarez’s equaliser in the face of Liverpool substitute Kostas Tsimikas, before bizarrely shaking the hand of Reds midfielder Arthur Melo. Clarifying what happened during the exchange, Guardiola said; “I was happy and I said [to Tsimikas] how nice our goal was.” When another journalist then picked Guardiola up on the incident and enquired whether the celebration was a slight lack of respect for the Liverpool players. Getting visibly more annoyed, he said;

“I’m so sorry. Speak with Tsimikas, speak with Arthur for a lack of respect. “Ask him if I lack respect. I celebrated the goal. I celebrate with my son on the floor and I come here and I say ‘the goal was nice, wasn’t it?’ That’s all. I’m so sorry. Do you think it was a lack of respect? Ah okay, I’m sorry.” Whilst Guardiola used plenty of time after the match to explain his actions, he also praised his team for their performance against Liverpool as the gap to current Premier League leaders Arsenal was temporarily reduced to just five points. The Spaniard claimed the display was among the best from his side since his arrival at the Etihad Stadium.

Chelsea’s manager, Graham Potter has said that he’s taking the blame for his side’s 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, April 1.

Ollie Watkins gave Villa the lead in the first half before captain John McGinn’s long-range effort in the second period doubled the advantage for the away side. The result has piled pressure on Potter, with Chelsea now 11th in the table. Speaking after the match, Potter told BBC Sport: “In both boxes we were second best. The first goal for them is disappointing from our perspective. “There were a lot of good things in the game, a lot of attacking entries and shots. If you look at the stats of the game it was a positive performance, but in terms of the scoreline it’s not. We’re all really disappointed. “The most important number is the one that goes against us. We have to do better. In terms of the game, you can see the players gave everything, they took on the responsibility, they tried, they had lots of entries into the box and shots and attacks. “Ultimately we conceded a poor first goal which makes everything very emotional and rightly so. We’re disappointed because we’re 1-0 down but the players responded well they kept on responding throughout. The second goal is disappointing because we started the second half well. “But if you look at the stats apart from the main one there is a lot of positives there. But at the moment into doesn’t feel too positive. “Defensively we’ve left ourselves too open but again if you look at the stats of the game we had chances ourselves, we had one-v-ones, but the most important thing, putting the ball into the net, we were second-best. “I don’t like to blame anybody, I have to take responsibility. We are a team, we have to stay together, we are together. We win or lose together.” Chelsea will be facing a crucial home game against Liverpool on Tuesday, April 4, with the Champions League quarter-final later this month potentially a make-or-break tie for Potter.

Peter Gregory Obi, a significant contender in the 2023 presidential elections, sought to rally Christian leaders to support his campaign in a leaked audio with Bishop Oyedepo.

Mr Obi, who represented the Labour Party, viewed the February 25, 2023 election as an opportunity to advocate for the recognition of Christians in Nigeria, leveraging the polarisation ignited by Bola Tinubu‘s Muslim-Muslim nomination. To strengthen his appeal, Peter Obi in a leaked audio reached out to Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church (Winners’ Chapel) the day before the election, asking him to convey his message to Christians across the South-West, as well as those in states like Kwara, Kogi, and Niger.

In the leaked audio obtained by Peoples Gazette, Oyedepo confirmed that he had already made a move in a previous lecture.
